流媒体 Producer contributing editor 肖恩林 and Canon Technical Adviser Chuck Westfall met at NAB 2014 to discuss the 佳能XF205, a new compact pro camcorder model that provides a higher-end, more richly featured stablemate to the XA25 and succeeds the widely used, HD-SDI-equipped, MXF-capable XF105.
The new model delivers the 20x optical zoom and dynamic image stabilizer of 2013's 流媒体 Best of NAB-winning XA25, but supports not only MP4 recording (like the XA25) but also 50Mbps, 4:2:2 MXF, broadcast-ready recording. Hence the "XF" designation. The XF205 also adds 3G-SDI to the XA25's HD-SDI, plus Genlock and timecode.
"It also uses the same heavier battery as the 105 series, which will last longer in the field,韦斯特福尔说. "There's also dual-band WiFi--both input and output--so in addition to FTP transmission, you also have the ability to do browser remote control. Coming in with a smartphone or tablet, live preview, and all your camera controls."
